Sabine Arnold
studied at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg and
completed her studies as Diplom-Dolmetscherin for the
languages German, Spanish and English in 2004. She spent her
childhood in Guatemala, where she grew up in a trilingual
environment.
Over the course of her studies, she spent a semester abroad
in Scotland, and later worked for a time in the USA. She is
currently working as a freelance interpreter, translator and
language trainer.

Matt
Fentem studied at Western Illinois University, USA and
completed his studies with a double bachelor's degree in
Philosophy and History in 1995.
While pursuing a Master’s degree in American History in
1998, he began to develop an interest in the German
language and culture. He completed his degree and came
to Germany as a DAAD exchange student the same year. He
later taught English at Bayreuth University and at the
University of Heidelberg. In addition to his translation
and correction duties, he is currently pursuing a PhD at
the English Department of the University of Heidelberg.
Since 2006 he has served as the head of the English
Language Hotline.

deal of experience in the fields of translation and interpreting.
They naturally speak fluent German, which means you can ask them
